Services for the Employers
Employers
Jobs are created in the private sector, therefore the Employment Center aims to assist enterprises in acquiring qualified workforce and growing their business. In our pursuit for eradicating unemployment and ensuring that all citizens have equal access to decent jobs, the Center will;
• Enable all employers to post job vacancies for free on the government’s official job portal.
• Assist in screening and matching candidates to job requirements.
• Organise job fairs and multitude of career events to connect employers with job seekers.
• Offer pre-employment services such as skills training, work trials and organise apprenticeships.
• Advice and guide employers on employment law, labour market information and recruitment solutions.
Job Matching and Brokerage
Employment Center staff are trained in managing recruitment procedures and delivering employability services. The center facilities incorporate the national job portal which offers digital job matching platform complemented by staff members who provide short listing and job linking service. Trained personal work directly with job seekers to identify their skills, career goals and job preference. Job coaches closely work with job seekers upgrading their CV and interview skills, and pre-screen them to ensure that they are job ready and suitable for the role. The Employment Center will collaborate closely with employers to understand their workforce demand and recruitment goals and provide a tailored service to ensure that they can hire the right personal for the right role in a timely fashion. The Employment Center can partner with employers to provide sector specific training to guarantee a pipeline of skilled candidates. There will be opportunities to coordinate work trials, allowing job seekers to demonstrate their suitability without long-term commitment.
Work based training
The Center will introduce a variety of procedures that will enable organisations and enterprises to employ structured learning and practical experience within a workplace setting. The process integrates practical on-the-job experience with formal training and education. It aims to develop the skills, knowledge and competencies required for specific roles or sectors. The Center will work closely with employers to develop work experience opportunities for job seekers within the framework of;
• Work trials
• Internships
• Apprenticeships
• Traineeships
The aim of work based training is to assist employers to gain skilled workforce, streamline recruitment and enhance employee retention.
Internships and Apprenticeships
Internships and Apprenticeships are designed as short-term work experience opportunities for students or recent graduates, focused on providing exposure to industry practices and developing professional skills. The Center will facilitate setting up a structured platform with a balanced classroom based learning experience and on the job training. Employers will have access to a support network in order to help them manage candidates and help them climb the career ladder.
Career Fair
Events both in-person and using a virtual platform. Career fairs serve as networking events where job seekers and employers connect in a structured setting. They provide opportunities for organizations to showcase job openings, internships, or training programs, while candidates explore career options, gain industry insights, and potentially secure interviews or offers. Employers will be able to meet and screen a large pool of potential candidates and communicate their brand, products and culture.
